Cumin Rubbed Strip Steak
You will thank me. Yes it’s true. You will.
You will think this is so simple how could it be so good?
Trust me. It is so good.
Just a mix of herbs and spices and your average strip steak is transformed.
See, does it look magical?
Cumin, chile powder, kosher salt, cayenne and oregano, that’s it.
We rubbed all over those strip steaks, then sprinkaled all over the vegetables to put together the easiest tacos.
It takes about 20 minutes in all. Easy for a any day of the week.
You don’t have to make tacos, you could pair the steaks with a nice salad and baked potato.
The flavors are nicely saltly, savory and a tweeny bit spicy. Perfect with whatever you put beside it really.
Put together the herbs and spices, rub the steak, chop up the veggies, while those bbq warm the tortillas.
We also warmed a can of organic refried beans to smear onto the torillas first, then the steak (or not if you are like our veggie girl),
on top of that a pile of bbq veggies, a few sprigs of cilantro then a quick squeeze of lime over the top. Perfect.
