My Favorite Cornbread
I thought with all the soups coming your way (from me) that warm, crusty, yummy cornbread was a must.
Yes that is 1/2 a loaf in the picture, we devoured the other half warm from the oven slathered with butter!!

My Favorite Cornbread
Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour, I used Bob's Red Mill GF baking flour
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal, again Bob's GF
- 2 Tb sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 Tb olive oil
Instructions
Set your oven at 400 degrees
Whisk all dry ingrediants together (flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt)
In another bowl mix wet ingrediants (egg, sour cream, buttermilk and oil)
Add wet to dry, mixing just until blended
Pour into greased loaf pan
Bake for 22-25 minutes
